Actually......Bonney Lake is near Mt. Rainier on the west side: Located in the scenic shadow of majestic Mt. Rainier, Bonney Lake is growing to become a premier city for families and community in the Western Washington, Puget Sound, Eastern Pierce County region. Located just a short drive from Seattle and Tacoma, and neighboring Puyallup, Sumner, and Enumclaw, so it shouldn't be too bad. I will most likely spend allot of time in the water trying to keep cool. I am going for the whole weekend with a few girlfriends. Will be camping in a tent.....had to dig out my old thermarest and camping equipment.......and from what I understand there will be crafts and food booths, a beer garden, athletic competitions, music and dancing and just a rip roaring good time. Also sounds like thousands in attendance. Have been invited every summer for 15 years and decided to go along this year. helvetia-alpengluehn.com
