"...The committee drafting the constitution completed about 90 percent of the charter before becoming stuck on 18 points, including the name of Iraq, its official languages and religion, the division of natural resources and the status of the oil-rich city of Kirkuk, according to a statement posted today on the Web site of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, citing Monzer Al Fadhl, a legal expert and an Arab member in the Kurdish Alliance...."

Under the rules the Kurds can veto the Constitution. I still say the US Taxpayer is going to end up paying for bribes in the end. As for the name how about:

Iraq in Utter Chaos
Iraq, protectorate of Iran
The Oil Republic of Iraq
The Rather Loose Federation of Iraq
Shia-Sunni-Kurdish Iraq
Exxon-Chevron-Halliburton Iraq

and the favorite
IRAQ

I think Bush can live with the criticism. Why doesn't Mick and the Stones send out some tunes to the Islamic leaders that have a reputation of torture, genocide, and totally repressive cultures? It is so easy to stand up and be critical towards the conservatives trying to put an end to terrorism. It would take some real balls to stand up and tell the Muslim clerics to go bleep themselves too. Just ask Theo - that guy had some cohones.
