That was not actual Wall Street spin -- just thinking out loud about what they might say.

But the basic proposition they they can spin almost anything to make it seem good for stocks and bonds is not in doubt.

Wall street spin is usually so preposterous that there should be no need to make some up. The actual spin is likely to be more preposterous anyway.
