Those who are seen on solid ground will lead those who are adrift.

Sound reasoning is the key. It is easy to use flame thowers at the Administration, but they are wearing flame resistant suits, so it gets you no where and in the mean time, we are looking at a very different world of the future. If we are to thrive in it we need to begin organizing in a purposeful fashion.

=====================

For example flames:

Calling Bush a drunken cocaine addict when everyone knows what a pious T-totaller he is. How does that engender confidence?

Accusing Bush of orchestrating 911, not that it isn't possible, but the plausibility factor is in the .0001 range, and the likelyhood of ever bringing such a thing to light is less.

====================================================

There are real problems that can be operationalized and for which sound reasoning from a liberal perspective can engender real activism that takes hold of problems and thier resolutions. I am convinced the world is ready and waiting for leadership that would call them ashore to stand on solid ground and make things happen.
