"There is a great need for liberal thinkers who employ sound reasoning to engage in the problems of our day."

In fact, Shrub and his cronies are a lot like the stock market bubble clowns who believed that everything will continue to just go smoothly for them.

This will finally be their real undoing - it's already at work, where public opinion is going sour on Iraq. If Shrub and Rumsfeld hadn't been "clowns", they'd have been paranoid enough to realize that there were great risks in wading into Iraq, just as there were risks in holding all those overvalued stocks. I hope for something better and base that hope on noble human endeavor; one founded on sound reason, principle, and innovation.
