re: On the wing only, no sitting ducks - it's a sport.

True story. Once in a while I play at a course(?) called Silver Dollar, in Odessa, FL. It close, cheap, not terrible and you can get a decent tee time on short notice. We, my golf buddies and I, in a non-PC manner call it TTCC (Trailer Trash Country Club), because it plays through the middle of a (actually very nice) trailer park.

The only other problem is that it also has one of the premier skeet shooting ranges in the country, they host national tournaments that draw thousands from all over the world. So on many holes there is this constant POP-POP-POP-POP... from the shotguns on the skeet shooting range. Doesn't bother my swing.

At the end of the round, you go to the bar and there are the guys telling lies about their golf game, and the guys showing off these incredible $3K shot guns, and of course the fish fry with the hot 75 year old lady bartender pouring really stiff drinks for $3 each. Life doesn't get much better than that.

My point? Hell, I don't know. I guess it's you should keep the damn shooters on the skeet range and the golfers on the course until you get to the bar.
