Hi Ron,

re: ""Right-wing bloggers are attacking military mom Cindy Sheehan for changing her mind about Iraq. But so have millions of other citizens.""

So what else is new? <vbg, vbng>.. That is the right wing. The chicken hawks. they ATTACK and SMEAR when they have NO position on the issue, except a cowardly run from it.. Like the smear vets, like Kerry's medals, like Kerry's service, like Max Cleland, like John McCain and on and on.. When their OWN goddamn selves were too cowardly to serve, they ATTACK and SMEAR the ones that did..

And they EVEN do it on SI on a individual basis.. Like fatherland or motherland, like son and daughter here on SI.. They (the RWE) make lists. Here on SI or an individual basis or on a national basis, for example:

Black lists of the 50's..
The enemy's list of Nixon..
The phony SI list of traitors drawn up a few years ago.
(yuck drawn up by RW TRAITORS)
And THEY still make lists of decent people wondering why the HELL we are in Iraq.. And they have done it for years here....

So I just wonder who will be on a so-called Schindler's list in the years to come....

And also I WONDER. HOW these WINGNUTS have the BALLS to come to this thread and expouse so-called "independent" thought.. AND then try to SMEAR Cindy Sheehan when she lost her beloved son for this country.. When the Wingnuts have NOT done a GODDAMN thing for this country except cheer lead and PROFIT.... SHAME, SHAME, SHAME..

HAVE they NO SHAME?

It reminds me of the McCarthy era, when:

<<The army hired Boston lawyer Joseph Welch to make its case. At a session on June 9, 1954, McCarthy charged that one of Welch's attorneys had ties to a Communist organization. As an amazed television audience looked on, Welch responded with the immortal lines that ultimately ended McCarthy's career: "Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness." When McCarthy tried to continue his attack, but Welch angrily interrupted, "Let us not assassinate this lad further, senator. You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency?"

senate.gov

Paraphrasing:

Have THEY NO sense of decency and shame?"

I guess not.. :(
