Solar baby... I'm getting another rack of Siemens 70 watt panels. That'll get us us to 36 panels. They'll charge in full sun better a 3kw generator running full out. I just upgraded the back up from gas to a 5kw diesel. Way cheaper, quieter and less fire hazard. My solar guy told me there is now a world wide shortage of panels and prices are rising because Germany and Italy(I think) have very aggressive subsidies in place right now to assist homeowners to add solar to their homes.
