Did you do through the "sexual revolution" when the dorms went coed and sex became part of the dorm scene.? Or was it over by then?

Nah, it was well over by then. Many colleges had already done it by the time we did it, so there was more than enough experience to draw on to manage it right. And entering students (and, most of all, their parents) were aware of other colleges having done it with little or no problems. It was basically a welcome non-event.

The biggest changes were few. (1) More parents complained and more students objected to their parents complaints. (2) There were fewer all male halls/dorms and thus fewer major problem areas. Putting women with men seemed to calm the men, give them fewer buddies to party with, whatever. (3) There were no increases in the reported incidences of date rape. This had become a visible campus problem by the time the dorms/halls went coed so there was some anxiety about it. But did not seem to happen. And (4) arguments that some of us had made for some time that all greek organizations be required to be co-ed began to have more resonance in the student body.
