Actually, that's a stretch. It's yet one more illlustration of the ways in which the various branches of government involved in this work failed to talk with one another. We don't know if that has stopped or not.

Thats fair Mike but remember bush was president for 8 months leading up to 9/11 so if there were gaffes during that time, it is on the Bush/Rummy watch. Just like Blair has to take responsibility for lenient polices that ended up aiding the terrorists there. Fair enough Mike?
