In my initial comment, I allowed for two possibilities. The first one was that her initial comments were delivered while she was overwhelmed with grief and on further consideration she became outraged and expressed that view point.

Now that I have seen more of her background, thanks to the posters of this thread, I am convinced that this was the case. There is no doubt in my mind now that she is quite involved in left wing culture, and activism and her view points represent that involvement.
