Well, maybe some people think those who tune into NPR and vote for democrats are brainwashed too. That's also amusing.

It's progressed (or regressed )to the point that now she's reading Mother Jones.

Like I said, I don't know if it's brainwashing or not. It's entirely possible that they don't have a brain to wash. Or that they're overcome by emotionalism. Or peer pressure. Or short laziness. Or incurious natures. Or whatever. Dunno.

And I'm talking about a subset of Rush or NPR devotees, not all of them. Let's be clear about that.
