Surely you are not arguing that the defects you mention are unique to his listeners? Definitely not. But notice how folks infer not only that they are unique to his listeners but that they apply to all of his listeners. That happens all the time despite my not having said any such thing and even despite my expressed qualification. Yet another manifestation that I find fascinating. Message 21590124 (It became my habit to use "dittoheads" with a small "d" to cover the entire set of "brainwashed" and to distinguish from Rush's Dittoheads. But that distinction was apparently too nuanced so I don't use is much anymore.)
