Many, Why are the trees so close to the road?? On any road, both sides of the road should have a certain width of leeway with not tall vegetation. That is not only a cause for hitting a deer. Anything could come out of the trees close to the road, including people.

When a hunter makes a kill for meat, he deserves the right to mount the rack. I never said that was wrong. What I object to, are those guys that go out an kill an elk, deer, antelope, or moose, and then take the rack to hang on their wall, and leave the meat to rot.

There is supposed to be an international ban on the sale of ivory from elephants, and that should have serious enough punishment to stop poaching. Some African nations have special troops that concentrate on finding, and arresting, poachers. Some times they have to kill the poachers that try to shoot it out. Elephants are mammals that pose no danger to humans unless the humans threaten them, or their calves. Otherwise, I don't know anyone that eats elephant meat, and am against shooting them for nothing more than a trophy. It is too easy to kill one with the high powered rifles of today, and there is nothing sporty about it.
