I only posted as it seemed you did not know you had some options. Mostly I wondered if some DSL services might not be immune to power outages as mine has shown itself to be. I suffer from mega systems every detail curiosity. Our dialog ultimately answered my questions and may have provided you with information that allowed somewhat more informed choices in the future. It seems to me when it comes to choosing how one's allocates personal resources, no one is a better judge than the person who owns the resources.
