Many, I haven't been to Montana yet, but concede that mountainous terrain can be a problem for both drivers and animals.

There is black market ivory around, but the ban has helped a little bit. I believe that those countries should get serious about conservation of some of their animals. A lot of them depend on tourism by people that want to view, and photograph, the wildlife, and if that is lost, the country gets more poverty than it already has.

I did drive through Wyoming one time on I-80, and there is some kind of a gap in the Rockies that is like a plateau, with fences on both sides of the highway. As I drove along, I saw several herds of antelopes, and even a few buffalo, running along the fences, but staying off the road. That was a beautiful sight.
