Ohio and California both have citizen's initiatives ongoing to amend their state constitutions to take redistricting out of the hands of partisan politicians.

If Ohio's is successful this winter, expect to see the movement sweep the nation. (California's will likely not see a vote until next summer.)

I don't see Texas helping the Dems win the White House either. I was referring to the House of Representatives.

It will be states like Iowa, New Mexico, Missourri, Ohio, Florida, Arizona, Nevada that will be key in the next national election.
