Old posts?, this is a good one. Not much has changed in 8 years. Robert, I do get a kick out these oldie, moldies. Of course, we know that Sabrina got paid plenty to answer the phone now.

Well, I hate to splash water on the embers BUT a friend of mine ( no pun intended ) who also holds shares had a chat with Sabrina today. I will try to be accurate but remember this is third person reporting. First, he said she didn't seem to know too much about anything new. Regarding a press release, she said the two new sites are not producing yet. When asked about the importance of the Dec. 6 deadline she said that would not cause GE to lose its rights to the property. She said a press release costs a couple of thousand dollars and money is tight so they won't release until the new year when there's some news. She added they didn't have the money to update the website. They still don't know production costs and have no news regarding assays yet. She said she's getting a lot of calls of complaint from shareholders. Terry Turner is aware of this and said he wouldn't want to be in her shoes having to field those kinds of calls all day. She said she assumes ex-employees are dumping their shares right now, but isn't sure. She added she gets no salary and receives share options for her work. She also added that there's no broker support for the share price and that no investor should be putting their life savings into a speculative stock like this.

Robert, all of the good will gestures that GE did at our expense was supposed to pay off in good treatment of the company.

NOT! They yanked Cangalli away from GE as soon as they had an excuse.

Mike,

The company's decision to use the equipment for relief work was humanitarian, just, and the only option for anyone with fellow feeling. It also happens to make good business sense, but that should not be the reason for doing what they did. I know from talking with Sabrina that these gestures have been made by the company and individuals associated with the company without any regard towards the business impact.

Memories of such acts of kindness will be remembered long after the gold plays out. They are of immense worth to the company, no matter what happens. There can be no question the people down there will support the company's efforts to develop the properties there for many years.

Such actions demonstrate the character of the managers, which is all we have at this point. That alone should help people decide if they want to invest in this story.

Regards,

Jack Simmons

<< Golden Eagle.....MINE/NASDAQ has claimed they have over 100,000,000 oz of gold on their property in Bolivia. >>

If this was true, a major would have already jumped in.

What is the story on this one ? How many shares out and what kind of exploration work has been done so far ?

DO they have a website or a phone number ?

TIA, CC

<< I was also going to send an email to the company complaining about this but I found out the same thing as you did, that there is no way on the web site to contact them. Evidently they don't want people asking questions. >>

Exactly my thoughts.

<< and has just posted a reaction on the 100 + aspect which i am sick of people using as the basis that this company must be a scam like BREX. >>

And your reaction is normal...but you must also accept the fact that people joining this thread for the first time are skeptical as the fact is that there are no known deposit of 100 millions ounces of gold and more on this planet... at least I don't know of any of them if they exist.

Robert, at least I was right about something in the past when it came to GE, read the last line.

NO, it is the gold that counts. The story counts only in the short term, I am looking for more than a $1 per share. I may be looking in vain, time will tell.

Mary Erickson is the only current management member who is named in the SEC complaint. She has at least 3 million invested in MINE and could have bailed when the previous management was removed, she did not. Remember, the SEC has to prove intent to make their charge stick, I think she is a money lady who may or may not have been aware of the the rest of the boards intentions and or actions.

Then again, the past pres. has his own lawsuit pending against the CA mines original owners so maybe none of them are rats of great magnitude.

What a soap opera, and with the government involved, it is going to run for many seasons. { : > ( :-------{
