We lived with the threat of nuclear annihlation from the Soviets for decades. So what else is new? Am I supposed to be especially concerned about terrorists?!? Do we drop everything and stop improving our country. I know the military is a necessary evil, but it sucks way too many of our resources and lowers our standard of living. We need to focus on being the 1st World Country we really should be, not hide behind hollow sayings like "USA #1", when it isn't. We need more balance than the current leadership is giving us.

Kudos to Kurt Weldon R-PA for his tireless efforts to get to the bottom of 9/11/01. Without his persistence we might have never learned about the military intelligence unit's tracking of Muhammand Atta's cell.
