Since we have a patriarchal history, BY DEFINITION, all fundamentalism is misogynistic. It doesn't matter if it's social fundamentalism, political fundamentalism or religious fundamentalism. Fundamentalists SUCK. That's why every thinking man, woman and child should be a PROGRESSIVE. Do you know that some rightwing fundamentalist christians want to have all miscarriages investigated because some of them might be, horrors, abortions? Do you know that some rightwing fundamentalist christians think that they own the bodies of pregnant women and that they can dictate what she does with herself? Oh yeah, Sharia law is coming back strong in Iraq thanks to, well, BUSH. Gee. Misogyny reigns even in the US of A.
