Anyone who gave the Swift Boat Liars serious coverage was not performing journalism. The chief liar, O'Neill, told similar stories about Cambodia to another typical Republican, Trick Dick, and was caught in his lies on the Nixon tapes. One liar said there was no gunfire, yet had to take his boat back to repair bullet holes. A Karl Rove scam from day one. And the Republicrook New York Times fell for it hook, line and sinker.
