Me, I'm not that sophisticated. Anytime I see a 3 or 400 pound cat that's about 8 or 9 feet long (think of a house cat that size) that looks like a Bengal tiger, I think it's a Bengal tiger

All this tiger-talk made me curious, and I looked up the Corbett's (Indo-chinese) tiger. Looks exactly like a Bengal to me.

Did you ever notice that when you accuse people of lying, there are two types of reactions?

People who really did what they say they did just laugh.

At any rate, it's a war story. You should be used to people disbelieving war stories. It comes with the territory.

You tell the stories, we tell you you're full of it. Except for other old fogies who are waiting to top your story with one of their own.

<<Apparently you care deeply about the distinction between eating Bengal tiger meat as opposed to eating the meat of some other endangered tiger, say a Corbett's tiger.>>

Last year we had a Bengal Tiger shot at a truck stop here, plus they found two snakes that were 15' and 19' long frozen to death. Right here in the jungles of Central Illinois.

I am sophisticated enough to understand that the way a person handles their mistakes says a lot about .....

LMAO!

What mistakes? The lady never has made one in her life. If you believe that.........

I absolutely believe you. Sure, you cannot tell the diff. between a Bengal Tiger and something else, big deal. I'm sure you were not reading taxonomy texts at the time. A damn smelly thing that looks like a huge cat with fangs and stripes and stuff is a tiger, details be damned.

Funny how we got here.

I am pleased and proud that I know at least one person who has eaten tiger meat. And that is the point of the discussion, not some incredibly silly riff on someone's credibility.
