I guess people do have a right to say what they want

You never have and you never will get an argument from me about that.

Some people have a way of speaking/writing that would have others believe they feel they are superior to others..

This may come as news to you, although I think I've said it before, but some people are better equipped in some areas than others. We all have our talents and our, er, lesser talents. I have no problem whatsoever with Tim Duncan considering himself superior to me and just about everyone else with regards to basketball. He'd be a fool if he didn't. I'd call him one of the basketball elite. And he could hardly be an elite basketball player without recognizing it. It's hard for me to imagine any argument with the notion that every arena has its elite, but your egalitarian self may come up with one.

It would be extremely unlikely that I would call in to a radio show. One of the reasons is that I'm less articulate orally than I would like unless I've prepared what I want to say. If I had some special information that was critical to the discussion, I might call in and share it so others would get the benefit but otherwise I would leave the discussion to those who had something to contribute and could say it well.

I like to think that I'm self aware enough to know when I'm in my element and when I'm not. Like I said in a previous post, I don't sing conspicuously in small gatherings and I sure wouldn't do it on the air. Things work better when people recognize where they stand in the various arenas of life.

The times I've heard Rush, if he has a caller, it chances are is someone who doesn't agree with him.

I never had occasion to experience that. All the callers I ever heard were sycophants.
