Having been a Ship's captain, I doubt I would even drink wine with meals on any ship under way. It's ok. They weren't captains. Not even cabin boys. But how interesting. And you were a captain with what line? on what ship? giving 18 year olds who have no real knowledge of the effects of alcohol permission to drink just seems quite dumb to me. You will have to talk to their parents about the permission granted. I have no dog in the fight, being just a chaperone. So the gratuitous insult, something which you seem to be unable to post without, missed the target that time. Sorry.
