If I heard correctly, that transportation bill includes some $250 million for a bridge in Alaska that connects a town of 8,000 with a town of...50. Another $2 million goes to plant vegetation on the Ronald Reagan highway. You'd think that vegetation would just naturally grow in SoCal. It's a wonder the US doesn't implode just from the pork. I guess this pocket change in comparison to paying contractors $33K/month to do whatever they like in Iraq.
