Great. Now can we put to bed this "elite" jones of yours? Every arena has its elites and range of sub-elite gradations. Just because one is not elite in a certain area, or in any area at all, for that matter, does not mean that that individual is a bad person or a worthless person...

Or has any less of a voice or vote.

That said, there is something "off" about those folks who audition for American Idol, can't sing a lick, but get all defensive and hostile and outraged when Simon tells them so. And there's something "off" about "groupthinkers," who never had an original or incisive thought, imposing themselves on us over the airwaves like they were God's gift to politics. Each is out of his element.
