Just put tree lines of chairs.

One is year one in the middle year two in the left year three.

One teacher only handle those three years in a single class. Students are to work, so the teacher lod them up.

As she is teaching lessons to year one, she asks the year three to read a certain part of their book.

Year two. should be writing a description of the picture she hang on the wall.

She comes to year three and start asking them questions about the text.

Pretty soon, all three years are very interested in the class because they like the subjects one year above. They go to next year already knowing how it is.

The school is providing the most important thing: Make the kids like the classroom. It is intersting to see the older kids leanring.

The state will extract a lot from this single teacher juggling three classes. Pay this lady a lot of money.

But his is not acceptable. because the state need more classes. More teachers doing less. Someone doing less gets less pay.

This is how I studied my first three years in Brazil. It is not something I thought by myself.

The only problem was for me to fight the older bullies I used to humiliate in class room.

I was in year one and the stuff was boring. It was more interesting to discover which is the right or left side of a river.

The Portuguese sailing to new lands. Discovering how to navigate. Plants, Lungs, vulcanoes and other good stuff of year two and three.

As a result, I could answer the teachers questions the older kids couldn't. They'd get mad and beat me up. Luckly I had two brothers to defend me.

As a result I developed a fast way to write only in capital letters, (straight lines are fast to write), so I had time to learn the upper slevel stauff.

I can't write small caps!!!!!!

You are trying to get scientific researchers. I'm trying to get about 90% of the graduates to be able to make change.

On the research level, memorization may still be useful to thinking. Note that chess masters memorize hundreds of openings and end games. Leraning about every element led to the periodic table.
