For fun, Let's speculate about what could happen at $750 a bbl. - -Immensely fat people trying to ride bicycles. -Capture of fireflys for nighttime illumination. -Everybody will drill for oil. People will make cable tool drills out of steel pipe, bamboo, what ever. Even 2 bbls. a week - less than 1/2 a barrel a day - would provide a good income - until inflation worked through the system ;-)
