more market musings...

-silver- has been flirting w/ its long term trendline. so much so that i'm scared to post an annotated view of that all-important weekly chart <g> Fortunately, the long tail on that candle from Tuesday has given the chart an improved look. Danger signs were on the verge of flashing.

The metal's consolidation has most certainly been a lengthy affair. It may also be a blessing. Tightly constricted price patterns are more likely to unfold dramatically. Plus, the time spent waiting has also given bulls ample opportunity to accumulate more physical bullion, myself included.

meanwhile, the dollar was red for its third consecutive session yesterday... there was a brief dip to lower lows on the daily chart , but it then recovered markedly EOD. The bounce has proven to be short-lived however. It is red yet again this morning and looks downright droopy.
