I was an employee for 6 years. Rode it up and rode it into the ground. Got up and dusted myself off and started my own business in a completely unrelated field. I could tell you stories that would make your head spin about how it was at ATHM and ultimately ATHMQ. Like romper room for young adults.

I smile now each time I get a ream of paper from the ATHM liquidating trust explaining to me how my share of the liquidation is going. Truly I must have 40lbs of paper relating to some claim i never even cared about when the company exploded. I think it relates to some vacation I lost but by the time the lawyers are finished with the copy machine and postage keeping me apprised i'm likely to get what The Old Man and the Sea landed with. Maybe there's someone I can call and tell them "please, really it's ok, go ahead and keep them 15 hours of vacation time i'm owed. In fact, take the liquidating trust out to lunch at Chevy's. Really, it's ok just please take me off your mailing list."

It's like spyware, hard to get it to stop.
