From time immemorial there have always been "creation myths" and any number of attempts to explain everything. Some of the more fundamental of these have quite a bit in common with the viewpoints of particle phsyicists and others of that ilk. But the fact is that ALL of these are theories, with some quite a lot better than others. Mankind lives in IGNORANCE, caused by the limitations of the self-contraction or ego. If one wants to transcend the ego and move to the God-Realized state, the view of EVERYTHING is vastly different. But few are interested, and in a given generation the individuals who realize anything approaching the God-Realized state can be counted on the fingers of one hand. So in this situation, the mass of people INVENT whatever they want to explain anything and everything. Most of it is TOTAL BS. It is easy to laugh at the products of the proponents of "Intelligent Design" for any number of reasons. On the other hand, there are remarkable recurring patterns, such as the DNA structure. So it is worthwhile for anybody seriously curious to ask: "what is that all about, and how would it occur?" The answers are always partial and in little glimpses. Until you are Enlightened. Namaste!
