Werner Herzog's latest film, "Grizzly Man" is a portrait of the naturalist as a strange, obsessed man. Timothy Treadwell was a grizzly-bear activist who spent 13 summers living unarmed and often alone with grizzlies near a salmon run in Alaska -- before one devoured him in 2003. Mr. Herzog tells Mr. Treadwell's story, drawing on interviews with friends and family, as well as about 100 hours of Mr. Treadwell's own footage.

At least it appears they aren't going to portray him as some kind of hero as I initially feared.
