Politics, relax... Alaskans also get an oil royalty dividend every year... Now that is a sweet deal, a state that pays you because you live there...
Not like the rest of the greedy bastards that control the high cost/tax states.

Our priorities with domestic dollars should certainly be different, but I look at the amount of money we're puking on the war and I think...Good for Alaska. It's drop in the bucket.
Hey! What would it take to get the government to invade one of our own states? Take over the state government, install a puppet regime and pump bazillions into it?
