In response to your post I did quite a bit of reading on the ozone layer, from scientific sources, and could find no mention that the depletion of the ozone layer is a naturally occurring event, where the hole opens and closes on a regular cycle. What I found is that the ozone layer is seriously depleted, and is not expected to begin to build itself back up until after 2050, IF we reduce dramatically the level of CFC gases we use. There are seasonal variations in the thickness of the layer, but it is dangerously depleted, even in those seasonal variations.

Could you post the scientific article that backs up your statements on this subject?
