i believe there was something on the news a few weeks back where he gave a big donation to his girl friend running for some office. and perhaps future wife. Perhaps JohnM may know something on Corzine , They included a picture of him on the dance floor with her. Not a donation. He had given her a loan to pay for a large portion of her house due to a rather contentious divorce settlement. He and (name escapes me) both say they were romantically involved during this time which was after his and her divorce. No one is talking about before either. Corzine then forgave the loan in, I think, December of 2004. The complication is that she is the President of one of the state workers unions, forget just which. They are no longer romantically involved, both claim, and there's no serious reason to dispute that. They do have apartments in the same apartment building in Hoboken but I suspect that dates from the period of their romantic involvement. I don't think this story is going anywhere. But it is Jersey, so who knows what lies around the corner.
