Thanks. You probably recall I think that pardoning the draft dodgers and rewriting the cowards discharge statuses was one of the biggest mistakes Carter could have made. You seem to feel similarly.

We all owe our freedom and thus economic prosperity to brave people like you. Your fellow Marines, and all of the armed forces are owed a debt of gratitude which we will never be able to pay.

I'm not sure I understand how a person who doesn't believe in war for religious or other reasons ends up being a "coward" in your mind. Do you not think it takes guts to stand up for what you believe in even if it's not popular? Aren't you judging people a bit harshly? Which brings us to the next question...you obviously are not a Christian because Christians do not judge...remember? So where do you get your moral authority to make judgements only God can make?
