You are quite right. People say things they regret in the heat of the moment and I would have dropped it long ago if he did not try to lie and cover up what is an obvious and blatant bigoted epithet. In fact it was only after he accused me of being bigoted for asking a man whom I had previously thought for two years to be a woman, if he was Homosexual that I even remembered it.
