Great to hear!

I started playing down the river in the late sixties and through the seventies. Hold Em was not in vogue anywhere that I know of. Now it is the only game in town.

I suggest you hit it fast and hard because all trends fade and die. All you need to do is be better than average and you are talking DOLLARS.

And you don't get good at anything without studying the writings of those who have done the work.

I probably should not even be saying this on a public board: but in (say) a five-ten game, one only needs to win one or two hands an hour to make a decent tax-free living...

I only dip my toe in 4 or 5 hands an hour--seldom my foot. Hope that helps...

Of course, if you make 3 or 4 hundred dollars in the first hour or two, then you can have a drink at the bar, play tennis--or go for a picnic with your best friends or your lover.

Don't ruin a good thing by getting tired, greedy, or obsessed. My last advice on this thread. Today I made $537.00. It will never get me the money back that I have lost over the years in real life. But it buys lunch and $50.00 goes into my holiday fund.

And there will be days you DON'T win (not many). How much you lose will be up to you...
