I have to agree. Although she can grab a lot of cash, I think she needs to stick her toe in the water first. There is likely a lot of critical shots that were previously withheld from the Hillary target by some just because she was only the first lady. A nationwide election might not tolerate her personality and politics.

McCain as you said does have the ability to collect many independent and even military Democrats. Frist doesn't have any real following and Rick Santorum might be just a little too new.
I doubt that conservatives would run from McCain simply due to his electability with their support.
