I was the green guy ordering steak in an Italian restaurant. If we go to some continental place I will refrain from ordering "Shrimp with Black Bean sauce". (Joe's made good on the evening so I would be willing to give them another chance; though thought the prices a bit high - not great value in my eyes). I will probably make it down again as well and agree on the Sunday. Someone mentioned that the place across the street was good but somehow forced a 15% tip due to the number of people? (was that East Side Marios?) So we want to avoid that junk. (not such a fant of ESM anyways). Can't help in the picking. I was around there back in spring 2004 and went to a place that had a split - downstairs bar; upstairs pub style - something with "gator" in the title - I think. The food was good; reasonably priced. Anyways - I am neutral on Joe's - though for variety wouldn't mind trying something else. (I eat mostly anything but not Sushi). Howy -- I am sure we could sneak you in.. just shave your beard.. (ha!) (google on toronto restaurants.. look at the dine.to etc - maybe find something; we have time anyways). Cheers! blake
