Savers should be summarily punished severely. Don't you know there are too many of them, saving too much. The FED has been trying to get people to borrow and spend, not save. To save is UnAmerican and these people should be roundly condemned.

Actually a better way of putting it is....
The market expects deflation any time now along with a housing bust

The idea that fixed income investors should get a fair return on their capital is as dead as the dodo.

Exactly how do you know what a fair value is?
