Oh, well, if you want to circle back to Brooks' point, my comment on that is that the approach he was describing has lost favor because it just isn't very good at explaining anything important, but it's certainly fun.

If you want to refute me, then maybe the Yanamamo weren't very good examples, since the example you gave doesn't seem to actually explain anything. I'd venture a guess that there are people all over the world who have never even seen, much less touched, a computer, or even a telephone.

If that means something, what does it mean? Other than what it is, a factoid.
