Why doesn't GWB just go outside and escort the lady inside for one hour? He does not need to do anything except listen to her and then politely say that he disagrees with her but thanks her from the bottom of his heart for her son's sacrifice (getting the full name right, of course). Don't call her "mother", call her Mrs. Sheehan. Nod with interest and keep eye contact for one hour. A little pain, then he still does what he was gonna do anyway. Every day that goes by makes it tougher for him.
