Somewhat. Walsh's name does not belong in the same article as a leftist tool. He too suffered a grievous loss. He took it and used it as the fuel to catch other perpetrators of heinous crimes.

I can see your point of view. I think the author tried to compare and contrast the two but maybe you are right and it should not have been included.

You're correct on the rest of your analysis. Cindy Sheehan and her defenders/ilk are disgusting.
