Seems like a typical attack mode by the hedgie crowd. Sounds like the "trust me" defense. I don't follow Overstock. Seems thought that Byrne has built it up as a very significant company. I recently ordered similar items from Overstock and Amazon. Got the O product in less time than promised and the Amazon product is still "in system," with lots of apologies. Again, that doesn't mean that O is a good stock to own and I don't own any. But he has significant credibility and can't be dismissed as a crook or a kook, particularly when the attacks come from the hedgie crowd.
