Down and down we go, round and round we go, in a spin, hating the spin we're in, etc., etc., etc., ....

Since LUCENT's most recent closing high of $3.21 on July 13, just four days before earnings were posted, we've lived through 25 days of trading and are now experiencing the 26th day. Stock is going by on the CNBC ticker at $2.82 (-$0.01) at the moment.

A 12% loss in 26 days ... where is that $4.00 price per share the stock is supposed to see soon?

Anon, Looks like we are closing in on your asking price... Any change in thoughts? Feels like one of those quarters that will build in momentum and then results will be announced and LU tanks...? But maybe not this time... I think a lot will have to do with any change in prospect for the future... Other items which may affect it: a large headcount reduction in management (C, D and E levels) rumored... whether this is real or not only time will tell... $800+ MM in income tax returns due this coming quarter - how will this be used and what happens to cash reserves... Is this already built in?
