Thanks Mag,

I agree those multi color cartridge printers are the way to go for excellent color photo prints. I'll probably get one when I get serious about printing some of my digital photos.

The person I'm thinking about buying for is just going to use it for school stuff...reports, papers etc. I figure the IP3000 will do a good job and the replacement cartridges are really inexpensive, especially generics.
