I would love to see those. There is no doubt that the Fed has a huge impact on the economy. Housing does impact it; I suspect it had a larger impact during the seventies than it does now. I have been struggling to understand the current housing economy though. Defense fell drastically and its rediscovery could have an impact, I don't buy the theory without some evidence. I will admit that tax reductions were not the only thing driving recovery. FYI I have seen evidence that a stable tax policy is not efficient. Periodic changes in the tax winner list spur changes in investments that stimulate the economy.
