Yep - I had a little British made Vauxhall that fit into that same category. Easy to push.

Bought a '53 Ford Sunliner next - never pushed it but the floor was so rotted through that I could rock back the front seat at the Drive-In. Hit a stone on the edge of the road, and after that, I had to tie a rope on the passenger side door in order to keep it from sliding open on curves. My dates always sat right up next to me, even on the first date. Great car - thought about bronzing it like baby shoes for the memories.

OT

What I find amazing is that my 2003 Camrry, with air conditioner running, gets better highway mileage than a Renault Dauphine (1960, total curb weight 1350 pounds) did. The Camry is three times as heavy, ten times more comfortable, and twenty times safer. I could have been killed by a headon collision with a wheelchair in that Dauphine.
