God and Jesus do not care about American politics although the vast majority of American Christians wrongly think He does. God is not backing America or the Republican party.

God is Love. God is Truth. God is Light. God is on his own side. Not the Republicans nor the Democrates. He works "all things after the council of His own will". He uses good and evil to accomplish His Divine Purpose. We aren't supposed to question his choices but just have FAITH that he "causes all things to work for the good..."
